FDA Mandates Select Peptides Ineligible for Compounding
Breaking news in the peptide industry, Effective November 1, 2023 select peptides have been moved from Category 1 to Category 2 on the Bulk Drug Substance list. Category 2 is for substances that raise significant safety issues. As a formulator and educator in the peptide industry, I feel it is VERY important that the general public is aware of this change as it indicates the increased safety issues when taking these newly classified peptides.
These peptides include: AOD-9604, BPC-157, CJC-1295, Dihexa, Epitalon, GHK-Cu (injectable form), Ipamorelin, Kisspeptin, KPV LL-37, Melanotan II, MK-677, Semax and Selank
Genostim Performance Labs DOES NOT utilize any of these Category 2 peptides in our formulas. We are posting on this change to keep you informed of these potentially dangerous peptides.
